our roots

 A History of Adventure

They say that memories pass between generations, through experiences that get hardwired into our DNA made by people we likely never met. Maybe it was adventures like the one pictured above - an epic 1950’s road trip to Alaska made by Grandma and Grandpa Fountain - that unwittingly set a particular course for our lives. Perhaps it’s nature and nurture that deserve credit for pushing us off a paved path and onto one devoid of others’ foot prints, of igniting a spark that set fire to all the kindling we could not see.

99% of the human body is made up of just a few elements and minerals crucial for life, but what about the other 1%? We like to think it’s a blend of stardust, chased dreams, dirt and desire. It’s blank pages begging for words, aerial roots searching for dirt, and a deep knowing that life happens out there, between the slice of a crescent moon and a brilliant blue sky, where the drone and direction of man-made things cannot reach, no matter how hard they try.

Our mission

We aim to inspire the hearts and souls of everyday people to build lives rooted in passion and discovery. We create from a place of enthusiasm and humility, remaining grateful for each new day and every opportunity to grow, learn, and celebrate. Honoring God and People through our work and lives remains our most important value.

Since 2015, I’ve been partnering with folks to tell their stories in meaningful ways. From filming a documentary about plastic in the Pacific to making catchy brand videos for outdoor companies, this work has allowed me to grow my skills as a videographer, director, and editor like I never could have imagined.

I’m passionate about yard games, making music, inviting people out of their comfort zones by getting them on the river, healthy community and the wild, wonderful outdoors.

My brother and I founded this company in 2015 based off of our love for nature and people. Working as a producer has granted me the opportunity to collaborate with people and businesses from a variety of fields (variety is the spice of life). I am a good mixer, poised and spirited in social situations. Clear communication, a direct vision, and making shoots feel fun and natural are my speciality.

I’m passionate about singing to my dog in the living room, pickleball, creating a life that goes against the grain, and finding humor, beauty, and joy in the monotony that our daily lives often serve up.

I got into videography to capture the in between moments and details that people often miss. I’ve been shooting since 2015 and am grateful for projects that have taken me all over the country and allowed me to film diverse storylines for a wide variety of people and businesses.

I consider myself a seeker of beauty and light. I love spending my time refining my yoga and meditation practice. Find me reading multiple books from various genres at the same time or adventuring with my husband AJ and dog Marlo.

I fell backwards into photography, then, I fell in love. Cheesy, I know, but hear me out. Taking pictures is like stopping time, freezing a moment and a feeling that will never be recreated in exactly the same way. Amazing, right? Like bugs trapped in amber. I’ve been fortunate to travel far and wide for work and want to continue ensuring high-quality photos are accessible for everyone.

I’m passionate about worst-case-scenario-planning, talking to strangers on airplanes, portraits, communities that get overlooked or are misunderstood, nonprofits and the people that work for them.
