Only Music

What happens when a band leaves all food and money behind, to travel from point A to point B, with only their instruments in tow?

Only Music is a part-documentary, part-social experiment born from a simple belief: that music is one of the most powerful forces on earth, and that people — given the chance — will show up for each other in extraordinary ways.

Only Music: Snake River (Coming Soon)

The third experiment in our Only Music series, we took a 120-mile rafting trip down the Snake River in Southeastern Idaho - a less populated, less scenic stretch. ABF performed pop-up concerts at camp sites, dive bars, gas stations, and everywhere in between. Stoked Ember joined to film the whole thing. What we encountered was pure magic, and we can’t wait to show you.

Hop on our email list to find out when and where you can catch Only Music Snake River once it’s released!

No food, no money, only music.

Produced by Stoked Ember Productions, Only Music follows the musicians of A Brother's Fountain as they travel-busk their way through some of the world's most interesting (often lesser-traveled) places, carrying only their instruments and a willingness to trust. No money. No safety net. Just music, generosity, and whatever comes next.

Stoked Ember was founded by the same people who started ABF — so this isn't just a production company filming a band. It's a family telling a story they've lived from the inside out. That closeness is what makes Only Music feel different. Because it is.

Only Music South Africa follows Colorado band, A Brother's Fountain, on an extraordinary journey from Durban to Cape Town, busking every mile of the way. No food, no money, no safety net. Just music, strangers, and the belief that people are good.

They traded songs for food. Melodies for shelter. Performances for kindness. And what they found along the way will restore your faith in humanity.

The first of its kind, Only Music Alaska follows Colorado musician, Justin Fountain, on an extraordinary journey from Colorado to Alaska, hitch-hiking and busking every mile of the way. No food, no money, no safety net. Just music, strangers, and the belief that people are good.

He traded songs for food, rides, shelter. What Justin found during this first experiment set the stage for what has become “Only Music”, a social experiment with a musical twist to rediscover and to show who ever is watching that people are good, kind, and generous, and music is powerful beyond measure.
